04 Impreza sti remap options

Hi all I'm planning on getting my scooby remapped in the next couple of months. At the moment I have a a green panel filter fitted along with the afterburner raptor centre and raptor rear box plus the decat midpipe from the afterburner range.
I'm planning on changing my fuel pump to a high flow pump if required.
Just wondered if anyone would know what figures I'd be looking at.
Apart from the little mods I've listed the car is standard so 265bhp I believe.
Would I really need the fuel pump. I'm happy with 300bhp or more if possible without costing the Earth on more mods.
What bhp do we reckon I'd get.
Thanks all.
Happy scooby dooing. 😀

Yes change the fuel pump, and make sure you have class 7 plugs (speak to Alyn at AS Performance if you need bits).

I would imagine 300+ would be achievable...

Who is doing the remap? Richard at FB Tuning is highly regarded, as is Duncan at RaceDynamix.

Ryan :ok:

i think an easy 320 maybe a little more?

second Ryan's comments, defo pump replacement with walbro 255 or similar.

Agree with above, do the fuel pump, its not too hard a job. Walbro 255 is fine.

Any documentation that suggests the car has the PPP? If so, it'll have a Prodrive sports cat downpipe and should make 330ish on the VF35 without too much trouble.

With the standard downpipe cat (non-PPP) then its more restricted so a bit less.

Easy 330 if you do a decat downpipe or sports cat, fuel pump is 12 years old now so definitely do it, the one in my brothers had started to fail at less than 40k and killed the engine.

As said above, defo the fuel pump. You should see 320/330bhp but more than that the torque levels are far better and the car will drive better as a whole.

I would definitely do the Fuel pump, the standard one is not brilliant,

Drop Richard a line at FB Tuning and tell him Dave said you would look after me ;)

Also bhp numbers are not too important, it should drive and feel quicker and smoother on the road.
