Slow Lap

Thought I might as well give everyone a chuckle

My second ever lap on a track, with Laura in the passenger seat for her first ever track lap.

Id blame the two yellow flags, or the rain, but naaaa - I stayed over to the right all the way round, and although second half (after 6mins) got slightly quicker as I tried to catch Rob, it was a very sedate lap all the way round.

You can tell how slow it is when Steve_PPP screams past me at 7mins 30 secs!!

12min+ :ok:

But I did it - and had a good laugh pootling around :ok:

Important thing is to enjoy it, stay safe, be courteous to everyone else and come back in one piece. Practise and confidence building brings faster laps, all in good time!

+2, Ginola was driving like Miss Daisy with elevator music on the first time a few years back when Big E sped past like a bat out of hell. Takes time to be sure of track and better to be cautious as you never know what is round the next bend of tourist days.

You did bloomin well :)

Yep!

I'll have to sort my lap vids out, I'd been stuck behind that Merc since turn 1!

Nice safe lap mate, nothing wrong with that.
