Nice.

I've been considering one of these to replace the FSTi.

Wouldn't recommend buying new, going to be at least a £35k hit in a year! Cost with all options was £101,000 be lucky to get £65,000 now

Banstead Stig 31-05-2016 08:29 PM

Thanks.

Yeah, I won't be buying new. I've not got £100k to spend. :ok:

Very nice, would be a toss up between one of these and an RS6 as a family car if I had the money. My brothers friend bought one with a similar spec after an Audi R8 and a Bentley, it was stolen from outside his house in central London within a month of buying it, 2 weeks later his neighbours was lifted as well, neither of them were ever seen again.

I imagine they are a fair way east now.

Could be. There is a big market in China for new Range Rovers, when you buy them new you have to sign a contract with JLR promising not to sell it for 6 months. The salesman was telling me I would at least double my money if I exported it to China straight away!

Banstead Stig 31-05-2016 09:04 PM

Crikey, I didn't realise that.

I was only thinking of Macedonia. A few years ago David Beckham had a BMW X5 stolen. Turned up as Macedonian minister's car!

Both very nice ,the spec on the RR is amazing

85MAC 31-05-2016 10:58 PM

It is will be sad to see it go, the kids have loved it, mainly the tv's in the back! It's deceptivly quick and quite good on fuel getting 32 mpg, but it's just lacking that excitement factor, plus it's a pain to park unless I have the kids and can use the parent and child spaces!

very nice that range rover!! depreciation on these has always been pretty bad in my opinion, sell it and but an rb230!! can see you in one of these ..wont lose as much money on that..

heres one to help you with your search lol..

That's nice, but I was recommended not to get a 2.5 by someone who knows more about these things than me, was going to speak with the dealer about this one today and if it's still available try and go to see it tomorrow.

Loving the Range Rover! amazing spec... although an amazing price to go with it...

Why is the BMW in storage? That looks mint also!

85MAC 01-06-2016 09:15 AM

Was going to use the BMW as well as the Range Rover but after 6 months didn't use it once, it's also a Champagne Edition 2 which was the run out for the E39 5 series only 250 ever made and I think less than 100 remaining. It's got a full BM service history and receipts for every tyre and brake change also all done by BMW. Less than 100,000 miles and absolutely mint condition. I thought if I kept it a while to may become an appreciating asset.

Fair shout a spec c is a lovely car!! Probebrly over priced as its a dealer but thats standard.. Not to clued up on.these...sure some one is...

Lucky 01-06-2016 02:01 PM

The range Rover looks lovely. My business partner has just taken delivery of one, although a diesel, but surprisingly quick and a massive step forward over his last RR sport. The V8 must be a beast.

Good luck with the hunt for a scoob

85MAC 01-06-2016 02:47 PM

Mines the v8 diesel it leaves the v6 diesel for dead! It's the speed it gets from 50-120 that's mind blowing (on a track obviously)
