White??? looks good with silver or something maybe really bright like florescent lime green lol depends how different ya wanna be.

AndyWRX 20-10-2009 11:15 AM

i think whitw would be good it really stands out but is abit difficult to keep clean, it depends how different you want to go and what your budget is, you could even have them chromed or maby a colour with a fleck in it

worzel 20-10-2009 01:02 PM

I like white with silver.

I never even thought about it until I saw Dyney's scoob

MrX??? 20-10-2009 06:16 PM

Black or white centres on a chromed or silver rim:yeah:

:yeah:

I'd not thought of white, as you say, not so handy for keeping clean. The carbon fibre looks cool. Not sure my mate is that good a paint artist ;) Price isn't really a problem. My mate is just starting his business and asked if i wanted my wheels done as he needs 'practice' so cheap/free, woo!

I quite like the idea of a pearl light green colour.

Could always go multi colour,
Red rim and centre where the bolts are (to match the calipers), spokes white or silver.
Just a thought

Wow! That'll stand out... wasn't thinking quite that bright though. Looks like its been apple tangoed! If i put up some colours, might you be able to do the same thing with them?

Or give me instructions on how i do it, take it you used paintshop?

Crowman 20-10-2009 08:35 PM

The carbon looking ones are the nuts

Nige 20-10-2009 08:42 PM

White on a silver car Mmmmm i think so. http://i516.photobucket.com/albums/u.../subaru039.jpg

Scruff 20-10-2009 08:45 PM

White looks good with lots of spokes but do you think it'll suit mine?

Give it a go mate you can only try. If you dont like it change it a little further down the line. Yours will be easy'r to clean than mine to.

waggonwrx 21-10-2009 07:26 AM

WRX_Paul 21-10-2009 09:47 AM

White for me

WRX_Paul 21-10-2009 09:49 AM

And get rid of the gold tyre paint, you are not driving a Trans Am, and this is not the 70's :oldman:

MrX??? 21-10-2009 01:32 PM

Think a pearl white maybe worth a go8-)

Jog on Shouler ;) It looked good on my mk1 escort, it looks good on this. Bring back the 70s!

Ok, the light green is maybe not quite how i envisaged it looking. I did see a 350z the other day which has a paint colour called 'black cherry metallic' That looked really nice. It was more black than anything but had just a tint of cherry and a sparkle in it.

p.s. its yellow, not gold.
P.p.s The white looks alright actually.
P.p.p.s The zebra style is proper pimp!

MrX??? 30-10-2009 12:51 PM

any news

;)

Scruff 30-10-2009 05:44 PM

Not yet, ran out of time after we'd had beer last sunday. Pending my state of mind i may be having them done this sunday. Will keep you all posted :)

Scruff 02-11-2009 09:53 PM

Here they are, not orange/green/zebra etc...

I forget the actual name of paint colour, but seeing that i'm male and work in base colours, we'll call it dark reddy cherry colour. Look really nice when the light catches them at night too!
