It's not DBW unfortunately and E's throttle only runs 0% and 100% anyway,

It may well be the bearing, mine had a similar noise turned out to be the bearing.

I brought 500ml of Millers octane booster - is that enough ? How much should you put in a tank. TBH I don't know what the EVO was mapped on anyway but I feel like I should help her through Europe with a suitable level of RON.

The only slightly dodgy time re petrol is the fuel stop in Belgium which is just past halfway.
The shell V power is not quite full strength apparently?

Once in Germany quality fuel 100 to 102 ron is readily available.

As Ian says it's only really in Belgium where the fuel isn't brilliant, those bottles of millers are not the greatest though they only treat 20 litres of fuel and don't add much actual Ron rating, I would just play it safe on the way out and back and not do big autobahn pulls at 150! /points at Big-E :D

VRN? Is that a number plate? If so I'd say yes, car must meet UK MOT requirements and that's an instant failure. Also handy when checking in at the tunnel with the ANPR system.

Mine does the same, o/s rear, I had a nice spare set of drive shafts which Si now owns, wonder if Jo is interested in selling to clear space in their garage...

BLUE are the ones that are Law in Europe! Please remember that the breathalysers are a requirement in France .

I thought I had everything sorted from "E's" list - then realised I didn't have bulbs - but I do have a generic bulb kit that come with the European pack I got so that's sorted...
