I've gone for a relaible car at the moment. My next car will be either a Merc 190 Cosworth, C43 AMG or a Leggy. I want JoolsUk's silver legacy.... he is my sisters boyfriend

I can use Emma's car if/when im bored of mine

Emma might be changing her white wheels, so they may be for sale soon

you aren't wrong! white are a pain in the butt . . . but i am a bit of a sucker for the blue and white look.
I've got a set of wheels sat waiting for me to decide whether I wanna change them or not . . . they'll be white eventually . .. but for now they're the silver newage WRX wheels. They'll be easier to clean than the multispoke and 17's instead of 18's. Not sure what to do.

thanks for the comments tho peeps :D

Keep the wheels you have Emma as new age on Classic is not a good look imop. The Scoob looks really good as is why change a good thing.:-)

Emma 01-05-2010 05:54 PM

the only thing is, i can't carry passengers in the rear with the 18's on, plus i get rubbage on the rear when i plant the accelorator where the back drops :) and on mega bumpy uneaven roads when going over 30mph it might rub if i hit a dip or similar lol so i was thinking of changing them more for practicality and driving pleasure rather than looks really.
I love the way it looks at the mo, just thought it'd save my arches and tyres lol.

Cath 01-05-2010 09:42 PM

I love this motor

Emma 19-05-2010 11:06 PM

update: the new wheels are on thanks to Chunk and AndyWRX, re-painted by Andy, paid for by Chunk lol. Wasn't sure if it would change the look too much but now they're on they feel great and no more rubbage on my poor arches :) result. . . . . what do ya think???

belliott 19-05-2010 11:14 PM

i like the newage wheels on the classics and if it is more practical now that must give them another thumbs up.

Emma 19-05-2010 11:23 PM

oh yesss! they're a size smaller, not sure if I will notice a change in the acceleration speed going from 18's to 17's but i'm sure i'll find out shortly :)
At least the car's ready now for Saturday's Geo day :)

belliott 19-05-2010 11:47 PM

i found it on my old classic, i went from 17's to 16's and it did feel a little bit quicker but didn't look as good.

darth maul 20-05-2010 06:53 AM

looking very nice emma

munk 20-05-2010 07:11 AM

looking shweeett!!!!

Moley_WRX 20-05-2010 11:59 AM

Prefer how it looks now, car sits well.

Can't go wrong with white newage wheels!!!

worzel 20-05-2010 12:20 PM

:agreed:

I think it looks lovely now mate. Cracking job

Crowman 20-05-2010 12:41 PM

Emma, car looks really nice, do prefer the other set of white wheels, but still looks mint.
The merc is mint, the 190 cosworth is an 80's legend but so hard to find a good one, Actually just watched fith gear which had a peice on the 3 door cosworth and the merc 190 cosworth.

worzel 20-05-2010 12:43 PM

I remember that 5th gear too. I very cool and very iconic set of wheels for sure

Chunk 20-05-2010 12:59 PM

It looks really tasty with the 17's on. Looked good with the 18's, but major rubbing issues

Will be at the Geo day, so you will all have to take a good look at them

Next on the list is the 4 pot brakes. Still looking for some air con hoses for it

SeanMcKnetic 20-05-2010 07:34 PM

I am completely in love with those other white wheels. If they need a new home, please let me know!

I think they look really good, the car looks more in preportion now if that makes any sence lol still got to decide what colour to do my ones

Chunk 04-07-2010 12:48 PM

On the lookout for an exhaust for it as the one on it looks like this inside...

http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k5...m_DSC00366.jpg

Also on the hunt for the L air con hose....

http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k5...Airconhose.jpg

I think that the one we need

AndyWRX 04-07-2010 03:58 PM

The exhaust looks abit mullered mate, you can have my old one to wack on till you find a better one, i wouldnt recomend on keeping it though youve seen the state of it probably gonna throw it away, gonna take my aircon out soon too so emma can have the whole lot if she likes, gonna take the inside hoses out too so itll be the complete lot

Moley_WRX 04-07-2010 04:32 PM

My exhaust is for sale chunk, but you'll probably want a louder one

AndyWRX 13-07-2010 03:01 PM

Never noticed before mate but it looks like theres a lump of metal stuck in there

http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...R/Exhaust2.jpg

Chunk 13-07-2010 03:42 PM

There is. it's the tube through the middle of the silencer. thats whats stopping it from coming out. it's a lot bigger than the tail pipe

Chunk 13-07-2010 03:43 PM

Thanks to the wonderful Moley. Emma has a new exhaust on the way & a rear diffuser

AndyWRX 13-07-2010 04:23 PM

Excellent glad its getting sorted :-)

Chunk 13-07-2010 04:25 PM

Hopefully that will cure the blowing sound coming from the back box

Chunk 13-07-2010 04:40 PM

Update on the R

Passed it's MOT with ease
Exhaust on it way - Thanks to Moley
Rear diffuser one it's way - Thanks to Moley
Air con hose on its way - Thanks to Jaffa

When the new hose is fitted, it's on its way to Lifestyle Ford for a re-gas.
New wheels & geo set up done. Now handles like a go-kart.

Going for a major clean in the inside soon as it's starting to get a bit untidy.

Engine clean is also on the cards.

Chunk 13-07-2010 04:41 PM

Shortly going in for undersealing
