Possible engine swap and body work, for a friend
 

Hey everyone,

My friend across the border in Germany, Simon a fellow Brit, wants to get the engine sorted on his Scoob. It has a small oil leak from somewhere at the back of the engine, but he's been told by various garages over here that they can't really pin-point it and that it probably needs an engine swap. So he's given up on getting it done over here and would like to get it to the UK and get it done properly. There's also some body work needing doing, rusty panels and bumps and scrapes here and there.

It's a silver 98 WRX and is of course a left-hand drive. I'll try to get some photos when I next go over to see him.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that can do the work? He's based in Ashford when in the UK.

Only one I know over that way is East Kent Subaru in Canterbury although I haven't any knowledge of them Personally, they may be worth a call.

Hi as Neil says east Kent Subaru have done so much work on my car from engine to bodywork and I'm very happy with their work and they do not over charge. They know everything about the cars so your in safe hands.

My cars going back in the next week or two for more work(happy days)

Big Rich at East Kent Subaru knows his stuff sorted my old type r the day before going to Germany lol .
