I can see a time in the not too distant future where all cars will be governed to the speed limits & fitted with black boxes to log your acceleration & speed etc, so nobody will be able to drive fast exciting cars anymore.
So enjoy the open road while you still can :sad:

Main reason I bought the scoobie was to make the most of it before the roads get too clogged and there's a speed camera every mile

From October 2015 all new cars will be fitted with a GPS device.

well that should at least revitalise the 2nd hand market a little :-)

Thats great from a breakdown/rescue point of view, but I expect it'll be far too 'big brother is watching you' instead :(

Are insurance companies interested from a safe driving point of view?

Haha, that did cross my mind actually. Worst case I could buy a garage over there and leave the car in it! Would mean more trips over of course....shame :-) ;-)
