Brand's Day December

Hay all,

I was thinking about either the 6th, 15th, or maybe even the 21st of December.

The 6th is run by open track and the other two are MSV.

Right now I am leaning more towards the 6th. Is anyone planning on any of these or keen on them? Could be a fun time to get a few of us all in on one :).

Hongkongfooi 07-11-2013 06:35 PM

Mmm tempting:-?

555_Si 07-11-2013 06:36 PM

Bit cold and wet for me then, had too many wet track days this year already.

Anger 07-11-2013 06:53 PM

Had a good day there Monday, but was very slippery and was thinking of doing the 6th... But got a AYC leak to fix

Anger 07-11-2013 08:01 PM

C. J. 07-11-2013 08:13 PM

You best go to bed then :D

Anger 07-11-2013 08:14 PM

More bored

C. J. 07-11-2013 08:16 PM

You could aways go and fix your driving aid :)

Anger 07-11-2013 08:18 PM

Do you practice being a twat or does it come naturally ???

Anger 07-11-2013 08:19 PM

To OP I think Moley and quite a few from the Middlesex lot are doing the 6th

C. J. 07-11-2013 08:20 PM

God get a sense of humour James , if you took any of that as serious you are the twat !!!!!!!

Ginola 07-11-2013 08:22 PM

Handbrake keeps mentioning the 6th but I doubt can have the car ready again by then,

James, just flicking through a few pages on MLR the AYC leak looks like a regular PITA to fix :(

Moley_WRX 07-11-2013 10:25 PM

Signed up for 6th

I think they are a few Impreza's going, with a good mix of other cars.

Just hope it's not snowing!

Anger 08-11-2013 01:37 PM

Yeah was a bit tired and took it the wrong way.... My bad, now off to fix my computer driven car ;)

drakesnow 09-11-2013 04:48 PM

LOL @ CJ and Anger! Greg wins with Anti Yawn hahaha.

Make a post with details on the 29th CJ!

Sounds good Gary just have to run a couple clicks up on the DCCD ;).

I'm gonna try and get in on the 6th then too as have day off from work.

scooby doo 09-11-2013 05:33 PM

Krissyb 10-11-2013 06:33 PM

May well be up for this guys :-). Weather permitting.

drakesnow 11-11-2013 10:11 PM

Sounds good, will be nice to have a group and as Gary reminded me on the phone today- good excuse no matter what to come out, even just to hang and socialize :)

Moley_WRX 14-11-2013 10:24 PM

10 spaces left apparently

Ginola 17-11-2013 01:21 AM

drakesnow 17-11-2013 11:04 PM

drakesnow 04-12-2013 10:46 PM

Any thoughts on who is definitely going to pop down?

I know I am going, a few of my pals, couple of other Subaru's...one being Stuart from ESMS as well as another mate and a subaru. Gary is in, who else?!

Moley_WRX 06-12-2013 06:31 PM

Steve_PPP 08-12-2013 09:37 AM

Did it stay dry for the day? Looks a bit damp in parts but hope it dried out quickly if it did rain.

Can't have been as wet as when we were there a few months ago! :)

Moley_WRX 08-12-2013 10:50 AM

Yeah dry all day.

Was slightly damp and greasy first thing, especially at Paddock, but dried quickly.

Sums up our British weather..... rains in August but dry and sunny in December. Don't you just love this country, lol.

drakesnow 08-12-2013 04:20 PM

Yeah lets definitely do that or snetterton looks really fun as well!!

I think the slickness threw a few people off in that first hour eh Gary?

Some spins, a roll, and a few cars on three wheels lol ;)!

Moley_WRX 08-12-2013 04:57 PM

3 spins on the sighting laps I think, followed by another 4-5 including a rolled Golf just in the first hour!

Moley_WRX 08-12-2013 06:26 PM

The mk1 Mexico was my favourite

Scott.T 10-12-2013 10:19 PM

Some interesting 'moments' were had by some.
And this shot shows that you need to seriously consider arch rolling if running low and aggressive offset, as the wheel gets well into the arch at the bottom of paddock :
