Supercar Siege Event (Inc. Blancpain GT) - Brands Hatch 8th May
 

This year the Supercar Siege team will be joining the Blancpain GT Sprint Series at Brands Hatch on the 7 & 8th May.

SES are planning to join them with an official stand on Sunday 8th May.

This is the replacement for the Supercar Siege event at Leeds Castle, as it was announced last year that it will not be returning to that venue. The reason is not fully known, but Leeds Castle are now running a similar event, but not to benefit the charity.

Hence, SES plan to continue to support The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund, and will attend the Brands event.

More details on the price strategy will be announced when available, but my recent communication with the organisers have confirmed it will be a reduced entrance fee and 100% goes to the Supercar Siege Charity.

I've never done an event at Leeds Castle, but Blancpain was superb last year, so that's where I'll be heading again this year!

Sounds good, combining Siege with a good days racing at Brands works for me. This has now become my deadline for getting the car sorted!

Brands, Leeds castle one is not for charity but the upkeep of the castle, shame i can't make it though :(

Unfortunately this event is limited to 150 cars from all marques, so we've got to wait and see if we get in. Scott was informed that there was an allocation reserved for scoobs but don't know if there's interest from other scoob owners/clubs that may effect our chances.

Just have to sit tight and watch this space at the moment, sure we'll hear something soon :)
