advice post inj fitting pls

advice please peoples.....in the new year I will be going to 650 inj and will obviously need a remap. Thing is I will get the inj done locally but will have to drive it home before the remap takes place. Clearly i dont want anything to happen in this short time so what is the best way to get it back in one piece?
I take driving it like Miss daisey is job one!? But what else?
Unless of course JGM does inj fitting!

Mate you won't suffer any problems, if you stick to driving like miss daisy and keep it off boost.

Is this your daily drive? If so, I would make sure that you are seeing Simon either the same day or within a couple of days though. Just to be safe.I can't remember the exact term Dave Hollamby used when he advised me, but it was something like, you can coat the bores? Due to more petrol going in than they can cope with. (please someone correct that if I am wrong, which I expect I will be :angst:)

When I organise it I will get the inj fitted on x day then get JGM to remap the following day.....It wouldnt be a long journey between the two, uckfield to eastbourne at most.:drive:
