225/35/18 Tyres

I have a friend that needs some 225/35/18 tyres for a classic.

He is after the cheapest tyres worth having, eg no ditch finders.

are Toyo T1S any good? Tyreleader are doing them for around £76 each.

Can anyone recommend cheaper or an alternative for around that price?

thanks.

Not the rsr595's I use but think they would be worth a punt http://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-details...-w-zr#95101822

I got a set of NS2R's 225 40 18's - New £270 collected Ashtead.

Soft compound. 120s

I have these on my car, I think they are a very good all round tyre. Un sure of how they wear as only done about 2000 miles with them. Not a cheap tyre.

cool, think these are the ones, £510 fitted in 235/35/18.

Khumo escata sports aren't too bad, wouldn't try on track though!

Been looking at them, decided to spend a little more and get something worth having, very awkward siz though which limits options.

I do have a pair of kumho's sitting on the shelf at work if you did fancy them I can do you a good deal, they are a pretty good tyre to be fair an a little underated in my own personal opinion.
If your interested let me know and I can sort out a price on Tuesday for you.

Very kind of you to buy a friend some tyres 👍

555_Si 28-08-2015 09:07 PM

Lol

Sti mayhew 28-08-2015 09:53 PM

Ok no probs, you want a fully fitted price?

555_Si 29-08-2015 09:19 PM

A mate fits them for £5 per wheel so I guess supply only is probably best.

Sti mayhew 30-08-2015 09:49 AM

That's fair enough, I will do it tuesday morning for you.

Sti mayhew 01-09-2015 10:23 AM

Hi mate I can't get anywhere near internet price on those I'm afraid!
Don't like doing it but the web is your way forward on those
