Agreed, it's the point where the reflection is that makes it look that way, but the shape the car is in makes it look unlikely that was what happened.

Had a message from Jason (the photographer) via the SES facebook page sharing them, some nice hi-res shots :ok:

Just flicking through the pro guy's shots, doesn't look like it went home so clean. Poor sod. :(

But they did drive home :ok: and both driver and passenger unhurt but assume they maybe a tad achy today

Hopefully just cosmetic then and eminently fixable.

Shame to see though. :(

I hope both of them are alright and shame about the type r as it is a lovely car and I do hope they rebuild it to its former glory .

Bent steering arm as the car had steering lock on when it hit the tyres. The bent arm was removed from the car, straightened and refitted apparently.
