Anyone else popping along to this?

https://ticketing.goodwood.com/Pages...lh1NLYXw9EgGM=

Haven't managed to get along to an SES meet since the Ring!

Steve_PPP 11-09-2018 03:38 PM

I registered last night but we won't hear for a while yet whether we're accepted for displaying a car I guess.

Scott T said at Saturday's meet that he has registered as well.

Hopefully see you there,

I registered back in May and only heard that I'd been accepted for the display today!

Banstead Stig 11-09-2018 08:09 PM

I had intended to, but now have a clash with my son's rugby fixtures... given I coach, I can't really turn my back on it.

It'll free up a place though as I cancelled my registration. The FSTi has commanded a grid place a couple of times, so that might be good news for those going for a spot!

Lucky 11-09-2018 08:19 PM

I shall be there but in a mates GTR :-D

Red Baron 11-09-2018 10:02 PM

I put in an application in July but haven't heard anything, guessing they're probably overrun with applications for Imprezas.

Streaky Bacon 12-09-2018 06:20 PM

Received confirmation of acceptance yesterday :ok:..............hope it's not raining :sadnod:

scotty 12-09-2018 07:00 PM

Wish there was a Goodwood near me .

Red Baron 13-09-2018 02:01 PM

Mine has just turned up, fingers crossed for nice weather.

Steve_PPP 13-09-2018 02:35 PM

Nothing here yet...

Mike L 19-09-2018 11:20 PM

Just had mine excepted just need to get the car working now :( in the process of upgrading to an syvecs S8

Steve_PPP 19-09-2018 11:39 PM

Scott.T 23-09-2018 11:44 AM

I lied.....it came through on the 14th :)

Mike L 01-10-2018 11:39 AM

The blue car is now running on the S8 so will be there :)

ScoobyNib 01-10-2018 11:55 AM

Let me know if anyone is interested in a convoy down, although by the looks of things most of you are down by the coast anyway!

Not a Diesel!!! 02-10-2018 10:02 PM

I am heading along but its just a tootle along the coast for me.

Cannot be parking next to another Crystal Grey with Gold wheels as people will think they are common.

Not a Diesel!!! 02-10-2018 10:03 PM

I only just applied at the weekend & it came through next morning. I applied for Hot Hatch in Nov at same time & that did not come through yet.

I'll keep an eye out for you! Never seen another one in the flesh..

Moley_WRX 05-10-2018 06:28 PM

Somewhere in one of the paddock areas I’ll be at a Keith Michaels stand (by myself)

If anyone wants to rescue me with tea and bacon rolls I’ll remember you at renewal time

Red Baron 05-10-2018 07:02 PM

I'll come and find you then Gary if that's ok, got my renewal through and just want to make sure some planned modifications are covered, been trying to call you all week but have been flat out at work.

Yeah definitely come and find me.
I’ve hardly been in this week and I’m off quite a bit next week, so my Goodwood office is the best option, lol

Red Baron 06-10-2018 01:19 PM

Does anyone else's pass have their car registration on it or are you supposed to fill it in yourself?

Steve_PPP 06-10-2018 01:32 PM

What time is everyone getting there? These events seem to be getting earlier each year, it says it opens for display vehicle from 6:30am! Then for public from 8am. I'm bring Claire and Ellie along so very much doubt we'll be out there before half 7 at the earliest :)

Yes, mine has my reg and a barcode on it.... why, doesn't yours? You had to enter a reg number when registering your vehicle.

Red Baron 06-10-2018 02:55 PM

Has a bar code but no reg number, is it an editable pdf?

Scott.T 06-10-2018 04:45 PM

Thinking of heading off at 0630 so should be there for 0745

SpecB 06-10-2018 05:03 PM

We may pop along around 8 we’ll be in the plebs parking anyway which saves washing the car at least!

Red Baron 06-10-2018 05:31 PM

Pass all sorted, Breakfast Club team are obviously working hard today as all emails were answered in minutes and a new pass sent through.

Moley_WRX 06-10-2018 09:51 PM

I have to be there for 6

Steve_PPP 07-10-2018 01:23 PM

Nice day for it :ok:

Good weather, nice cars, coffee and a nice sausage bagette (even if it cost 7 quid!) but hey, its Goodwood. Food is always expensive

Wandered past your stand Gary, saw your car but guess you were off looking at stuff. :)

He was mixing with the celebrities on the drift circuit, how long was your 15 minute break in the end Gary?

Liked the FK2's and the Legacy estates.

Scott must have still been there.....

Cannot believe it came across another 05 plate Crystal widetrack in the paddock area.

Guess it was yours.

Looked very fresh. How many miles?

SpecB 07-10-2018 08:08 PM

We didn’t make it but there was a big group for UKLegacy there!

2 Owner car, picked it up this time last year with 33k on the clock. Bought it to use it though so now done 52k! :paranoid:

I saw yours up the other end of the circuit, very clean indeed. Must be a low miler too!

Streaky Bacon 08-10-2018 10:41 PM

A few photo's from Goodwood.
They aren't the best!...…..Low sun caused horrible flair, glare and long shadows but you get the gist. Apologies for the gratuitous P1 shots but a 22B to make up for it :-D

scooby doo 09-10-2018 10:32 AM

Great pics! Love seeing some older stuff . Gutted I didn't make it.

My car ( or the wife's car to be exact) is on 48k. Got it just over 4 years ago with 25k on it & done about 5k per year.

Would have been funny to have together as they are pretty much identical 05 Crystal Grey STI's. Although I have a set of black wheels going on for the winter shortly as I am still on Bridgestone's RE070's on the gold wheels.

Oh yeah. That's some heavy miles. You must be stopping a lot at the petrol station.

This if freaking me out.

We are the same person. Only got Toyo TR1's on my winters. Not Proper Winters like you.

I figure good tread, 4wd & living on the south coast with fresh sea aira couple of miles away should keep me moving. I had a 130i before the Subaru about 5 years ago and had proper Winters for that. Mildest winter ever!

jmcc42uk 20-08-2019 12:18 AM

Anything like this happening this year?

Banstead Stig 20-08-2019 08:24 PM

Don't remember it being on the list for this year.

jmcc42uk 23-08-2019 09:25 PM

Ah right....there's usually something, will keep an eye out

Steve_PPP 24-08-2019 11:15 AM

Yeah, they don't do the Japanese Sushi Sunday brekkie club every year unfortunately.

jmcc42uk 11-12-2019 12:53 AM

Shame....my ae86 is ready
