Mapping session and a half
Been up to Birmingham with my bro in his 200sx to have it mapped by the guy who maps all the drift cars in the bdc including this years winners,
Got to his place at 10am he spent until 4 pm doing a health check on the engine including re wiring the boost controller, leak down test ,compression test, coolent percentages, earthing all cleaned up and re made, smoke test on the exhaust system, on the intercooler pipe work, Gaped spark plugs, checked fuel pressure, Then at 5 pm began mapping on the rollers, was mapping until 12:30 am!! At the end me and James had to sit in the boot to stop the rear wheels spinning on the rollers! also set up the adjustable cam pulleys James had put on Managed To get 389.9 hp at the wheels and 415 fpt He is well pleased it is on full boost at 3000rpm It's been set up for drifting :norty: |

Sounds tasty matey, i remember mine great fun to drift :-)
|
Thats some good numbers mate. Is it + 12/15% for 2 wheel drive ? :EVO:
|
I'm not sure on that Nige, the mapper guy was just saying about 2 wheel drive having more power but handling and cornering is not as good so they balance out?
