Here's a few pics of my bugeye, completely standard engine (for now) ninja 2 cat back. In the near future I want to de tango the headlights, bigger turbo, probably go for the td05 18g as not looking for huge power, walbro fuel pump and injectors, just failed mot though the other day on rear shocks and some welding needed on drivers rear sill, so don't the work, just waiting for the re test tomorrow.

Will only let me do 1 photo at a time as I'm on the iPad and I've forgotten my photobucket Id and password.

Danwrx 18-11-2013 11:14 PM

Thanks mate, not as clean as I looks in the photos unfortionatly mate, few rust bubbles on the rear passenger arch which is getting sorted ASAP, had it for about 6-8 weeks now and it's a great car.

Love the JDM spats, I prefer them to the STI skirts, did it come with the blob scoop?

Danwrx 19-11-2013 08:18 AM

Thanks mate, yeah everything was on there when I got it, also got the front bumper corner spats but one needed repairing so I took them of and repaired the one, just need to get it sprayed then refit,

Yeah mate keep an eye out, got to admit it is a lovely car to drive, my lprevios car was a Audi s4 b5 which I loved to bits but there's just something about these cars that makes it a more fun/challenging car to drive :)

Nice! almost got myself an s4 before the scoob but for what its worth tuning it uprating turbos ect its alot of agro!!

Danwrx 19-11-2013 10:59 AM

Yeah it sure is mate, they are a nightmare, everything is so expensive, I upgraded the turbos to k04s updated front mount and panel filter, remapped to a healthy 330bhp and cost an absolute fortune, thinking with this one the td05 18g seems a reasonable option and can get them at good prices.

I was after an S3 when I bought the impreza, but the WRX was so much cheaper and much more fun to drive, I've still got the same scoob (well the bodies mostly the same) but had a classic wagon (non-turbo) sport, Forester Turbo S and now the Spec B Legacy and all have been faultless cars and so engaging to drive.

i have a serious horsepower b5 a4 1.8T and a golf iv r32 and a Passat b5.5 tdi, along with the Scoob, got to say it is my perfect budget(ish) garage. Have other cars too!

Danwrx 20-11-2013 11:27 AM

See I still love the vag cars, my s4 was one of the best cars I've ever owned,I would love another one and funny enough I was looking at a b5 1.8tqs to go along side my scooby but i already run to work vans and the scoob and can't justify getting another to be honest. Nice collection you've got though si

Danwrx 20-11-2013 07:39 PM

Lol ;) nice looking bug mate, very clean. Just out of interest, what reg is yours? Only because when I looked at your plate it looked like a older pre 2000 plate but probably just me not looking properly.

Danwrx 20-11-2013 07:49 PM

How often do you drive your type r mate?

drakesnow 21-11-2013 11:49 AM
