I realise that a 4 wheel drive car cannot be towed with two wheels lifted, but can it be towed on a bar or with a rope?
|
Yes you can tow with all 4 wheels on the road but only a very short slow distance!

Need a new slave cylinder as there is a bit missing out of the seal on the piston |
ill have alook later on mine mate if no one else hasnt replied by then,
|
This is how it gets its revenge of running it low on fuel around an hour before, first time the fuel light had ever come on.
Hoping its just the slave cylinder but theres alot of movement on the clutch release fork |

|
mine has hardly any play.
if you mean forward an back movement it could be that the the clutch release bearing has come away from the clutch wich would then give you alot of play plus then the clutch cylinder would push more than it should causeing that to split the seal. |
The shaft that holds the release fork in place was sitting against the starter motor which ther should be a plug there i think which has caused brearing to come off by the looks of things
|
yeah the cap is nearly half inch thick an is an allen key type cap.
if your back over this way i have a spare in my garage you can have |
Ok thanks, il get a slave cylinder and check to see if its working as should as dont really want to take the box off
|
Then when on the road again il come and grab it if thats ok
|
yeah thats fine.
mine should be back on the road friday so could meet up to drop it of if need be |
