issues..

anyone else have issues with jaffa cakes??or any other food.. on my 8th packet in just over a week, pretty much a packet a day, think i may need help!! :cuckoo:

Rdlangy1 15-05-2017 08:35 PM

Nice problem to have I think

NL03Scooby 15-05-2017 08:45 PM

The more pressing matter is...

Cake or biscuit?

I take to long with a Jaffa Cake, trying to graciously free the orange bit from the rest of the chocolate covered base.

Rdlangy1 15-05-2017 08:45 PM

Def a cake! Full moon, half moon, total eclipse

Scott.T 15-05-2017 08:49 PM

Tesco's wine gums.
I've tried all other brands and can't get enough of the Tesco's own.

A court ruled they are cakes. It was a VAT case to determine how they were taxed.

Very famous.... if you're a tax adviser!

The determining factor, in case you're interested, was that when biscuits go stale, they soften. When cakes go stale, they harden.

As to weaknesses on food, for me it's donuts. I once ate twelve Krispy Kremes in a sitting as it was a variety box and I wanted to know what each tasted like. :o

All i can suggest is you buy Sainsbury's jaffa cakes as they are exactly the same (i did a prolonged test of all types :-D) and are cheaper so will save you some money :-)

I'm a bit of a fan of dunking them in cold milk. Their a great milk sponge.....

Steve_PPP 15-05-2017 10:52 PM

Jaffa cakes are the best. Room temp for me though. Oreos dunked in milk is a close second though.

Frenchie 16-05-2017 06:49 AM

Bit weird, but fig rolls for me. Not available in France.

Steve_PPP 16-05-2017 11:47 AM

Like the flavour of fig rolls but they always seem to me like they're a bit soft and stale, even when new!

The original jammy dodger is still a good'un too :D

scotty 16-05-2017 12:44 PM
