2 part disc kits, which to get..
 

Torn between these 2 kits..

I would probably opt for pf 11z with these..

The AP one comes with DS2500's I believe..

Is there any quality difference?.. or advantage / dis-advantage either way?

I know AP are good and have a friend with a 600+ bhp car running the above kit who swears by it, but also heard many positive things here about the PF kit..

Thoughts greatly received, + deals from any traders watching taken into consideration 8-) happy to put a sticker or two on the car for the up and coming trip to the ring ;)

I was using the PF 11Z pads at the weekend on cheap discs and they were performing well, the Superhids PF discs are the ones I am looking at, I was just concerned about the bells as they are considerably cheaper than the PF bells. I think the PF discs themselves are supposed to be good.

I'd personally go with the PF option i think, for the money.

£720 is a lot of money for just a set of discs and pads. You could spend a grand on a big brake kit like the 356mm ksports, sell your brembos and net cost is less than the AP discs/pads....

I'd pick up the phone and have a chat with Alyn @ AS Performance, he's always good for advice and may well do a good price on PFs as well if you go that route :)

That is what I paid 4 years ago..

Speak to Alyn is the best advice..

K-Sport 330mm are £799 for 6-pot calipers, floating disks, bells and braided lines.
Then just add your choice of pads, DS2500's are £241 but K-Sprts are £79.99 and EBC Blue £129 (I think Steve has these )

I've got the 356mm 8 pot kit, which was £899 at the time including EBC Blue NDX pads. :)

PF I would choose and as above I would speak with Alyn@AS Performance

NDX for those money you can easy have PF Z Rated pads(they're cost around £120-£140),if its more for fast road with occasional track day,but more track day pads have look on Carbontech XP10/12 or Pagid RS range,PF race pads range plus would suggest better fluid

2 piece discs PF is great choice

not a fan of E*C pads at all, although to be fair their discs are not bad..........

be aware that the kit above does NOT use the Performance Friction bell but a cheaper "copy", hence the better price than genuine PFC 2pce kits

we only supply the (IMO better quality) genuine PFC kits and happy to "deal" as we are one of the largest PFC UK distributors

as for the strap-drive kit its not as cost effective, long lasting or value for money when compared to the PFC kit
