adjusting my cuscos

i bought these coilovers and my old 18s from same guy so just swapped them over...now iv changed wheels to 17s i want to lower the car a tad more..

im adding some pics here as im not shore what to adjust to lower..??

also the pic of the front strut im not convinced the lock rings should be where they are?? the spring just hangs??? is this right or should them rings be up to the spring?? its the same on both sides?

as i see it id crack off the bottom lock and turn the bottom of the strut up??

as with the rears crack the lock rings off and turn the bottom of the strut up??

That's not right I'm sure the spring is suppose to sit on the lock rings and to lower the ride height you just move the lock rings anti clockwise I think but not 100% sure but someone on here will point you in the right direction mate .

the bottom spring perch can be adjusted by loosening lock ring then lowering the the adjuster ring.

the lock ring on the bottom of the strut is usually used for finer height adjusting for when you are corner weighting the car.

the upper ones are for spring preload etc but usually you adjust these on a road car to get desired height.

so with the fronts...am I going up or down with the rings?? to lower?? and is it the same with the rears??

Lower them about 3 to 5 turns and then lower the car, move it forward the back to settle it, then repeat is,necessary. Don't forget to do geometry when done.

You want one third for compression and two thirds for droop to handle right on the movement ones set on the higher adjusters :)
