Handling Modification - Causes & Effects

Was looking into the effect of soft incompatible shocks/springs and ARB's and found this with some interesting 'Causes & Effects'

http://www.trackpedia.com/wiki/Vehic...d_Effect_Guide

I'm pretty sure I'm suffering :

Too little spring (due to the Tein S-Tech's rating being low):
  • Floating ride with excess vertical chassis movement, pitch and roll
Relatively too much anti-roll bar : rear (due to my 24mm ARB being on middle setting which is probably a bit harsh compared to my old 22mm ARB)
  • Car has a violent reaction to major bumps and may be upset by ‘FIA’ kerbs
Although I haven't hit any FIA kerbs yet !!!!!! I do seem to get quite harsh kick back when you hit a compression mid corner.

Hence I am now trying to find a harder rated spring similar to the Prodrive Eibach (rated at 215 Front / 195 Rear) but with the height drop of the Tein S-Tech (rated at 179 Front / 179 Rear).
The Prodrive WR springs that originally came with the Bilsteins would be ideal, as they have always sat lower on a work friends car then my Eibach's, but I think I would have more luck finding a Dodo.......

Nitron can do a custom set up for you. May be on the pricey side though!

Can you get a compromise set up for the Ring?

Well H&R springs are the ones to go for, as expected, and as fitted in the past by Carl Davey and a few others I know from years back on S'Net.
However, there are none in the UK and expected delivery is 10-14 days.

Looks like it'll be a slow lap this year then........same as usual then (I thought I'd get that in first ;))
