Another out with the old in with the new!!

Just sold the girlfriends corsa vxr

Now returned back to the reliable old hondas, after having the ep3 then selling it to me she then bought the vxr which was just problem after problem so she has now bought the fn2 and what a car it is. Most people don't like them and I assume they are people that havn't driven one. Brilliant, comfy and nippy.
Mmmmmm I see my future car here.............

Not the best pic but I've yet to work the cleaning magic on her then it'll be photographed properly.

Ha ha ha, train them early mate

Really like them, cool dashboard in them too.

Although its nothing like that one, I considered the 2.2 diesel version when looking for a daily driver as they're meant to be nice and grunty - but ended up with the Mondeo ST diesel instead.

Thanks, yeah they are nice. The 2.2 diesel is unbelievably torquey!

Nice looking car mate, love the colour:ok:

Sti mayhew 16-09-2013 08:21 PM

Thanks mate, colour is soooo much better in the flesh but my phone is crap. Weekend clean and a good photo session with my decent camera and I'll get some better ones up.

only Honda I've had was an s2000.....sorely disappointed...and no torque. Although it did sound good revving to 9k. They are well made though.

Looks good but needs supercharging:grin:

Craig I take it that was your mrs that followed me through kingston about 6pm today???

Sti mayhew 16-09-2013 09:37 PM

I would have thought so yes. She's normally though there about that time on her way back from work.

Lol :ok:

That is nice.

A lot of the criticism of that vintage came from the previous Type R drivers as they felt it was 'sanitised' compared to the previous one.

I've not driven either so cannot comment. However, I did experience that when trying a 370Z having owned a 350Z. I would have a 350Z every time based on my experience. The 370Z is still a great car though.
