Very very nice

Excellent pictures.

I keep meaning to get there to take pics and have a nose about as it is a fascinating place.

Always thought pics of the car there would be cool and you have confirmed this!

Just beware of the locals.
I've been out there twice in 2 years and been moaned at on both occasions.
If you really want to piss them off, park on the stones (we did this the 1st time...oh boy !!!!!!).....but just stopping anywhere seems to raise their hackles (which happened this last time).

I'm sure I could hear a banjo playing somewhere.....:martyn:

Haha, funny you should say that, as I almost asked how accessible it was, in particular the stones.

That landscape on a daily basis probably could send you round the twist, but I do find it fascinating.

It's great on a bright day, but as bleak as you could ever imagine at any other time.

Good road out there from the A21, Broad Oak (B2089), Rye, Camber (Camber Road), Lydd (Lydd Road), Dungeness (Dungeness Road)......which was my suspension setup test route ;)

Bit of a thread revival, but I finally got down to Dungeness last week. We rented a cottage right by the beach in St Mary's Bay and spent a fair bit of time at Dungeness.

A few of the FSTi (it was a family break, so little time for car photos!)... got some on a bright day and some on a bleakish one!

I was pretty pissed off when the Micra pulled in whilst I was taking photos!

Red Baron 20-09-2014 05:54 PM

We must have caught them whilst exhausted after a lynching as we encountered no hostility at all!

I noticed a blue newage Impreza outside one of the houses on the way in, so maybe Subarus are accepted now... there was a definite love of pickups down there though!

I was to busy eating fish and chips at the Pilot to take pics today
