If you are talking about the foam gasket they are easy enough to make from a blank sheet of foam - thats how I made mine for the bugeye

T1NY. 26-12-2018 05:59 PM

yeh thats the 1 mate, i have water getting in in my bugeye somewhere and i have changed the boot seal but no change, strut towers seem ok, but last winter i did notice 1 of the tail lights came with a pond so gonna do the light gaskets and see if that gets it,

SpecB, how thick foam did you use on yours?

Not sure what the gap is between the back of the light and the rear panel but have you tried something like this:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F282259968136

When I put a new rear light in my old Nissan it came with a roll of this in the box, it's a bead of bitumen sealant you put round the light cluster where it meets the metal bodywork and seals everything up watertight.

I can't remember the thickness it was from eBay and was actually self adhesive on one side.
