Recommended dyno kent
Hey all, looking at getting a dyno power run done before I start modifying the blob. Can anyone recommend a decent place to go? I'm based in sittingbourne but don't mind travelling withing reason to go to the right place
|
Only place to go as far as I'm concerned is Charlie's for scoob .
www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk |
Surrey probably the best for Scoobys, usually a wednesday lol
Have also used Dynotech in Erith with my Evos |
Looks like surrey is the best bet then and cheaper on sats :)

Right guys, you've given me the kick up the backside I needed.
I am going to organise a SES Rolling Road Day at Charlie's (Surrey Rolling Road) It will be beginning of November on a Saturday if Charlie can oblige, I will speak to him as soon as I can get hold of him. I will start a thread as soon as I have more details. |

Thanks Simon :)
For what its worth, I wouldn't bother with other rolling roads, Charlie's a good bloke and knows scoobs inside out. Plus you've got a good figure to compare, as everyone else uses Surrey too! |

Only other place other than SRR I would go is Eurospec in Guildford, never had a bad dealing with them back in the civic days.

iv just spoken to him there 2 spaces left 20 cars max... |
Your get about 25bhp more than Surrey RR
|
Quote:
i understand tyre pressures how hard the car is strapped down how big or small the fan is all make a difference to the figure but...25bhp just because it isnt at surrey....??? or is it the software they use...is it set wrong?? dont they know how to calibrate the system??? whats the facts behind...a 25bhp difference?? |
2 mates had there Evo's mapped there last month, then went to Surrey RR yesterday and both made roughly 25bhp less there... All depends on what they use to calculate 4wd losses when showing at the flywheel
|
isnt it 20% loss for 4wd....that seems to be what most ppl say...my E3 went to TDI and they went with the 20% loss..
