Looks fantastic, rather jealous really as we're basking in 35 degree heat here in South Aus.

Been a while since I posted here [bout a year or so, so Happy New Year]

Roo

worzel 07-01-2010 09:56 AM

Watcha Roo. How the devil are you over there?

Must be a real bind having to put up with brilliant sunshine and heat like that ;-)

Good to hear from you again. Still got the scoob? Got any pics?

Catch you online soon again I hope :yeah:

Steve_PPP 07-01-2010 09:59 AM

nice photos Steve, can't believe we've had two dosings of about 6" in the space of a few weeks!

AndyWRX 07-01-2010 10:23 AM

excellent pics mate :10: spent ages shoveling snow off my drive only for it to snow again last night and its snowing now lol

worzel 07-01-2010 10:34 AM

Cheers guys, snowing here again too.

We had 8 inches in the last lot, this lot is now at 10 inches in my garden.

Steve_PPP 07-01-2010 10:55 AM

snowing here again now.

Claire had to go to work as she's got a magazine which goes to print this afternoon that still needs finishing - it took us half an hour (and a shovel) from stepping outside to having her car out the street

Great pics

Looks a nice area with snow, is it the same without?

worzel 07-01-2010 11:10 AM

It's a nice little town to be honest. 8-)

I love it here and would be very hard pushed to move away. The bad weather in the winter is the only downside, either side of Crowborough is nowhere near as bad (Uckfield / T Wells) it's due to being the highest point in Sussex.

The bad winter weather is a good excuse to keep your scoob

I find that the road surfaces in sussex are a lot better than the surrey ones

AndyWRX 07-01-2010 11:25 AM

At least the snows filled in most of the potholes in surrey lol

Christmas Day lunch on the beach having a snack lunch. Evening put a large piece of fillet beef on the rottiserie to cook for a few hours. Preceeded by a few cold 'uns and portugese prawns.

We began life over here in Brisbane and loved it. Bit humid but Winters were fantastic, 6-10 weeks of sunny days around 25 degrees, summer wet and 35. Now in Adelaide and just come back from the beach 43 degrees and a gazillion flies to p!ss you off. Water was nice and a few dolphins to entertain.

Crackin place over all but miss the snow. We were back last Christmas and saw a little but not much. Also landed day after the last meet of the year :(

Rexes they're called over here [go to Sydney and they're also called rice rockets]. Thousands of them, japanese cars are very popular over here being so close to the asian market. Fords and Holdens are still a religion for Aussies though. V8 Utes are 10 a penny over here. I have been tempted with the Holden R8 or the Ford F6 Typhoon, but they only look good for a burnout, very american

SUBARMAN 09-01-2010 09:07 AM

Yeh, when we went to Aus Subarus were like Fords are over here, all over the place, especially Leggys !!

Steve, since seeing that picture of Laura, I keep humming "Laura in Red" by Chris DeBurgh !!! Thanks for that Big E!!

worzel 09-01-2010 09:11 AM

I'll have to do the same now
