bonner 09-02-2013 09:44 PM

cheers! its slowly coming together but has made a big differnce to what it was originally!! i wish i had taken some pictures the day after i picked it up!! it had been sat for 8 months neglected i got it halloween about 10pm it wasnt till i filled up in a petol station i see its true condition!! it looked like it had never been washed!! i thought to myself oh dear what have i done!!!!! was a sorry state quite hard to beleive but a good couple of sessions on the clay bar and a good polish every weekend with turtlewax ice paste has brought it up just needs lowering and some fresh wheels and tyres to finnish the looks thanks again bluebugeye for uploading pictures!!

Definetly come along way since you picked it up..keep it up mate.:yeah:

bonner 10-02-2013 10:21 AM

could do with your mesh bits matey!!

bonner 11-02-2013 08:09 AM

looks like a set of mesh is coming my way!! might paint black if the chrome is too much??

SpecB 11-02-2013 10:36 AM

If you paint it, I use Hammerite (smoothite) as it's more chip resistant.

bonner 11-02-2013 10:51 AM

was toying with the hammerite but i recently done my calipers in gold with it and has come out rubbish! has left brush marks init but temps were around 0 so il put that down to that, do think the grills would look nice in black rather than chrome! i think a smoked chrome would look nice also!!! might get a rattle can and carfully spray the rad in black also? were it shows, done the bm the same and the results were great!! just loosen fans and slip in a sheet of carboard not to sure on this yet?

Steve_PPP 07-04-2013 03:34 PM

Nice work, the STi 7 seats are a great addition and a bargain

bonner 07-04-2013 04:57 PM

was a steal!! they have the same feel as the classic might sound strange but the car feels abit more torquey due to the seats being alot more solid??

Mortster 07-04-2013 04:58 PM

bonner 07-04-2013 10:01 PM

lol yeah i didnt really want to put them up but done it anyway? ideally want my rotas refurbed then i thought how can i send them off without having spares!! once rotas are sorted they will be up for grabs unless i get a good offer either cash px swap for somthing for the motor

majorscooby 08-04-2013 06:29 AM

There a nice alloy, I was just looking to see if I could pick up a cheap set to see what they looked like on my classic , plus the fact they go over brembo's! Gunmetal grey for me though.

bonner 08-04-2013 09:29 AM

would look smart mate! they suit the classic more than newage!!
