Got this lot to fit..!

This arrived in the post today, I've got two weeks to get it all strapped in and looking good before injectors and mapping etc.. I'm a bit nervous to start chopping stuff up!

Nice mate. What power you hoping to make? :-)

Steve_PPP 04-03-2014 08:32 PM

Have fun! :D

Red Baron 04-03-2014 08:41 PM

Ooohhh, shiny. Are those pipes ceramic coated or just well packaged?

SpecB 04-03-2014 08:47 PM

It's a bitch of a job! I particularly loved the way the pipe work had no instructions as to what goes where!

Granby 04-03-2014 08:55 PM

Well stop posting on here and get on with it :)

Hongkongfooi 04-03-2014 09:32 PM

Good luck:ok::angst:

Ginola 04-03-2014 09:40 PM

Hopefully somewhere near 400, should be around that I hope, manifold might restrict a tiny bit but don't have funds to change at the mo, I might remove and port/polish it .

Was going to ask you about that Nick as I think yours is the same? It looks abit of a PITA , noticed one pipe seems to reduce in diameter aswell :O not the same as the classic HDI kit I had on the last car at all.

simba 04-03-2014 09:52 PM

Good luck dave

I changed the pipe work as the one that goes underneath took a beating with speed bumps... Oh and it shortened the pipes

SpecB 05-03-2014 06:38 AM

As James said I'm not a fan of the under the car pipe, mine is fine but I have got an extra custom bracket holding it up to the subframe. One of the many plans I've got is to change the under pipe for an over, but I guess I'd better sort the HG first!

You're welcome to pop in on your way past for a look at mine anytime.

C. J. 05-03-2014 06:52 AM

Their a piece of piss to fit and the pipes are easy to figure out .
Angle grinder you say , 4", 9"or 12" take your pick :D

555_Si 05-03-2014 08:17 AM

Got my japspeed to fit as well, wondering if to get hdi instead. Been advised to get silicon pipes and clamps uprated.

I think the pipe run is better on the Japspeed, Molley I think had a pipe blow off on the way back from mapping, I think clamps and silicon is readily available though.
