squealing from the back(not the mrs or kids for a change)

Not had time to take the calipers off yet(brembos) to have a look but have a squeal sometimes sounds like its coming from the passenger rear, not all the time though and dont leave handbrake on when in garage.(which is not deciding factor if it does it or not)

Does this sound like a sticking caliper or more like sticky handbrake shoes

Thanks

Dave

If it is calipers see you can get replacement seals etc to recondition but no stainless steel pistons or do they already have these anyway???

You can get original Brembo Seal Kits from Alyn at AS Performance (I have got Front and rear to fit - pistons not included - just the rubber seals).

Not sure if Alyn does full refurbishments as well, but if not, Scoobyworx offer full brembo refurbs - but try Alyn first.

Ryan :ok:

Not just the wear indicator on the pads is it? Rears should be easy to refurb if the pistons are good as there's only one to get out, trying to get all 4 out of the fronts is good fun.

Thanks for replies yes scoobyworx good price

http://www.scoobyworx.com/swrd-bremb...00-12355-p.asp

do they not have two pistons on each one on the rear then on the sti calipers???and just the one and dont think i would attempt the 4 on the front ones lol

and no plenty of meat left on the pads so does it sound like its the calipers then and not the handbrake shoes???

Good point, forgot the rears were 2 pots, some of us are still running single pot sliders on the rear.

Godspeed do refurb kits for the Brembos as well, not sure how their prices compare.
