Well if told a couple of you about the bloke who boxed his Cosworth in the wall, so today I went to look at a few bits in a side cupboard and what did I see sticking out.

He has left a opening in the cupboard so he can get to it.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1959f1e696.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...61f85b4b55.jpg

That's incredible, whats the story behind it?

Scott.T 12-12-2019 04:46 PM

Last MOT was in 2010.
55K miles on a SORN but not insured (current legislation means it should be, hence why it's in a cupboard)

if its SORN then no insurance needed surely??
its on private land so doesn't require Tax, MOT or insurance...........

I thought they had changed the rules that SORN still had to have insurance. Perhaps that was just insurance companies trying to maintain revenue.

That’s unbelievable. Would love to see it dug out.

Thanks for sharing. He’s a lucky boy.........seems a shame not to at least use it a little when the sun does occasionally shine . 👍😀

I often wonder what became of my old Cossie. It seemed to disappear into the ether. Of course, it could be on a different number plate now but I suspect it's rusted away by now.

That's bonkers! What a shame to see it gathering dust like that.

If a car is sorn’d, no insurance is required.

I’m a bit experienced with that one :-)
