What Shocks?

I have just noticed my front shock top mounts are perished and split.

Re: What Shocks?

KYB's? They were going to be my choice but with springs would have been more than the BC Coilovers I'm getting from Bren @ Apex on the scoobyworld group buy.

Not sure what they are like on the Classic but I was after Konis until I found out they were just inserts not the whole strut.

I have tein springs on my hawkeye. made a big difference but then i was std. the only thing i would say is that they lowered the car a lot more than it said on the tin.

Thanks for info, Mine has lowered springs on it, but were fitted in japan, i imported car nearly 8 years ago, so no idea what the springs are, They are well worn now and the car feels very bouncy.

I can mate, Just the shocks and springs have seen beter days now.
I have decided to fit new rubber top mounts and new tein springs, if the shocks look fooked when i get them off i will have to buy replacements.
Unless i can find a good set of coil overs, have searched everywere with no luck so far.

JUST A THOUGHT

I know it is not going to be the cheapest option but:

as time is now very limited would it be worth getting in touch with Powerstation

as you said you wanted to go there anyway??

They seen to tick all the boxes apart from the ££££££££££££s
