my car been boosting at 0.5 bar anyone know why this could be

In limp mode
Boost control solenoid failure
Or boost control hoses plumbed incorrect with missing restrictor valve.

Buy what? You need to have the fault identified first by someone who knows these cars.

You could try these guys, they're Subaru specialists and well recommended:

Does it feel slow, or you going by what the boost gauge is reading? From experience, I'd start with the boost gauge, make sure there's no cracks/holes in the pipework then expand from there.
