Rear anti roll bar setting

Well I have had adjustable White line rear ARB for a good few years. Always thought I had it on the stiffest setting.
Whilst looking at replacing my rear lateral links I came across a vid on whiteline website which gave all the techy stuff. Yep I've had it on the softest :-)

Silly arse

scooby999 29-04-2011 03:35 PM

Bonus it will feel like a new car ,for nothing

I had it fitted same time as drop links and anti lift kit. Asked for it to be set on stiffest.
Never gave it much thought.
Glad I'm having the rear lateral arms replaced with adjustable ones, as the bushes in the originals on the car are fook ed

Nige, you have a duty mind:-)
The stiffest is the nearest to the bend, the shortest distance. Making the softest the hole at the end.

Mines currently on the middle setting, might have to move it onto the stiffest before Germany!

Mortster 29-04-2011 08:38 PM

Mines allways been stiff...:-D

What setting would you use Anger if you were doing the scooby shoot out?

Unless you are getting loads of understeer I would leave it as it is.

Presumably it was ok at Brands?

If so job done,

What size is your ARB 20, 22, or 24?

On my RA i always had it on the hardest setting, could be slightly scary in the wet tho when going for it

It was ok at Brands but would be nice if it can get rid of a little more understeer. Tbh i forgot it was adjustable and that it was still on the middle

Can't remember if its a 22 or 24.

Take it off you may like it. If you don't you will find out what it's doing or not. Didn't have any understeer on my Scoob. However i did have lift off oversteer & i liked that. :drive:
