WR1 Spacesaver size

Question for Ian or others in the know!

I was thinking about this the other da and wondered what the standard size spare on a WR1 is as I have the same wheel/tyre combo on the Bugeye but currently with the std wrx spare which must be smaller! I was going to get an STi space saver so it would clear the brakes but as the WR1 comes with my wheels as standard I would assume they had the correct size spare?

Have just looked at mine, the tyre has the following marking /size:

T135/70D17 102M

The rim its self has T17x4T DOT

Hope this helps.. :ok:

Cheers Ian

I'll compare that to mine and see what the difference is, I would like a better spare!

Well I'd love a proper spare but single PFF7s don't come up that often!

It's the same as an STi Space saver.
In order to clear the Brembos it is a different design to the WRX/Classic Space saver.

I've got a screw in my space saver. I enquired about a new tyre in quik fit, and he advised me to Source a complete wheel as it'd probably be cheaper! They do pop up at the usual breakers quite often. As said they're the same as an sti. Maybe big e can just split a set of his spares, so we can do away with the space saver.
