Cracking pics mate. :five:
I love the Phantom, did that fly in? I would have loved to have heard that if it did. Good to see the 109 with the B.O.B Flight too  Looks like another cracking day at Fairford :ok: |
Thanks Steve, getting the practice in now, it was a fantastic day and the best fairford airshow we have been to, not sure about the phantom, but have heard it does fly and is privately owned, was such an amazing site to see so many spitfires and hurricanes and the 109, amazing sound of rolls royce merlins:doubleup:

Great set of pictures!
Love the Apache - such a menacing bit of kit! I've yet to see the Raptor in action, but I'd really like to check it out as it should be more then capable of putting on a spectacular display. Did they work it hard, or was it a fairly conservative routine? I think airshows have really missed the presence of the Russians in the last couple of years as they used to really push their aircraft. Not saying the other display aircraft don't of course, but it was nearly always the Russians who stole the show! |
great pics Baz, looks great fun. Really need to come along to one of these at some point!

Great pics Baz, have to say my favourite is still the Lancaster
|
The raptor put on an awesome display, it has an amazing tight turn and did the rear slide like the russians used to do, it is a formidable piece of kit and this plane is 1 of a kind and better and more agile than the eurofighter by a long long way, and I am a big fan of the typhoon.
We were all amazed on what this plane can do and did at the display, believe me when I say this plane is the best thing in the air by far in relation to modern day military jets of its kind. |

...though the RAF pilot in the Typhoon is sure to be better! |
