235/35/19 cheap enough to you mate. These are better than 888’s in just about every way especially noise.
|
1968 International Driving permit "You may need this" (£6.50 from the post office)
If you plan on visiting Switzerland "you may" need a 1926 one also. |

Also, do you use those reflectors on headlights if driving after dark? Thanks! Sent from my G8441 using Tapatalk |

It is compulsory to have beam deflectors fitted day and night. |
There aren't any tolls on the route you take so dont need to worry, just need a bit of change for the toilets at the services. I always fit the beam deflectors, one less reason to get pulled over.
|
Never fitted them myself
|
Hi guys, just be aware that on any road in France without a central reservation/barrier that used to have a speed limit of 90 kms, the limit is now 80kms. Will probably still show 90 kms on your sat navs.
|
Have you all filled in the API (advanced passenger information) on the Eurotunnel confirmation??

how do you guys pay for the laps? with a app or pay cash, card?
|
Cash or card...
|
Quote:
You purchase a Ring card that will have as many lap credits as you wish, in the office they take cash or card but, sometimes paying by card the exchange rate might not be as good as you get in the UK. Dean please PM me you mobile number. |
ok thanks everyone. I just wasn't sure what was the best way. i will pay cash then

Is everyone taking a fire extinguisher and spare headlights? I read they are recommended rather than compulsory, so was just curious!

Enjoy the trip mate, wish I was coming too. :drive: |

It is compulsory to have a spare bulb kit fire extinguisher. Hi vis vests for each person stored inside the vehicle First aid kit Warning triangle GB sticker or suitable number plate Your papers need to carried in the vehicle at all times too. Every you need is on the first post  Less than a week to go now.. |
Quote:
for example: if you pay 100 euro on the app that = 4 laps in the week but will only get you 3 laps of a weekend. I normally buy a 4 lap ticket at a time from the ticket office close to the entrance, buying 4 at a time gives you a slight discount. ps. if you have any laps left over i can help with that. . |
Just to let you know that up till now you were required to have a breathlayser kit in your car in France, but that requirement has no legally ended.
|
Cheers for info Terry :ok:
|
Don't speed in France !
