i guess the black cloud over my head couldn't keep up all evening. man that was some rain.

I was a camera virgin so I thought I would take more of the fun angle. Dave wont post up the girly run he did, only the better composed one hehe! Mind you there were 100s of blurr, front bumper, back bumper, feet lol

You should definitely come next time Adam. I've never done a track day before this and after my little incident on my first corner of my first lap :whistle: I had the time of my life.

Yeah i've been checking a couple of times a day as well, not rushed are they lol

I rang msv last night. They apologised and said they had problems trying to get the photos on the site but assured me they do have them and hope to have them up by tonight. Fingers crossed

It looked like a good meet some lovely pics! Shame I was unable to make it however I would be so worried about wrapping my Scoob up going round a track and then being left with no car as insurance does not cover me for track days.

I know this is a Subaru forum, so there is a risk this will go down as well as a girl with jagged braces, but whose 205 is that? And what, if anything, has been done to it?

This looked like so much fun but how do you get around the fact most insurance companies do not cover you for track days? My own insurance does not cover me for track days, I would love to have a go but would be too worried about crashing then being left with no car as the insurance company would not pay out, also how do you know what speeds or racing line you should follow on the various parts of the track any advice?? :whistle:

Track day insurance is a separate daily cover. Keith Michaels will do it for a daily premium if you are insured with them.

Go out with someone first to show you the lines and then master them yourself, or get an instructor to go with you.

Do you mean as a passenger in someones car? I would then properly go out with an instructor in the car with me until I felt confident to go on my own

Added comments in other thread, get someone to take you out , then book a track day and book an instructor for a few laps, he will get rid of your bad habits and give you a good grounding knowledge.

There were only 20 of my car, which worked out at £60.... so i added 10 of Anger's so i had the 30 needed for £1 per pic.... bargain!

Just drive round gently and build your speed up slowly as you feel more confident and familiar with the circuit, keep a watch in your mirrors for fast moving folk etc,

Its not a race so all at your own pace.. :)
