awesome !!!!!

That looks expensive!
*just zoomed in, that was expensive! What gains should you see? |

The zoomed in bit is ex VAT! It should make anything from 410 to 430 on mine at a reasonable boost level on pump fuel. Don't really want to push much more out of the standard internals. It should suit for long term and future 2.1 plans and room to add more boost/meth etc etc. |
what 2.1 plans? :paranoid:

We guessed with airflow/boost/fuel duty taken into consideration circa 400/410 as it sits now, We did not push it hard, boost set at 1.45, dropping to 1.4 at the top, there was room for a bit more timing but no need to push it. I could run 1.5 or even 1.6 but this is really asking a lot of the standard head bolts and my poor engine which is not exactly new,.. taking into account the way I like to "USE" my car :) I opted for the... "Don't try to make all the power it can..just make it nice and safe so I can beat the pants out of it in Germany and Belgium ;)" It definitely goes better than it did on the 20g, It pulls really hard! Delivers more of a shove in the back as it comes on, but does spool slightly later, pulls hard to the red line etc. I'm happy, numbers not too relevant really, unless they are lap times!! :D Might stick it on the rollers at Surrey just to see when we have the dyno day, will confirm soon. Needless to say there is scope for the future :-? |
Nice one Dave......
|
sexy,,,,,....
|
Nice one Dave enjoy the fun with it at the ring can't wait to see the figures it produces on the dyno when you all go to JGM's new premises for the dyno meet .
