got round to painting the calipers today ! Christ it was cold
look smart matey! how was the finnish? i used gold smoothie but finnish was crap! was left with brush marks altho this was probably to do with it being 0 degrees! did you use thinners?
Finished quite nicely matey i just used a tin of halfords caliper paint straight out the tin as it is! i used GUNK degreaser on them first to clean em up !
il have to have a butchers! twice ive been let down by the same paint but everyone esle gets on with it no prob! do they sell gold?
Im not too sure mate but most likely!
Looking nice....
Last time I did Calipers it was on my old Golf, I used the Foliatec kit, no issues at all.
When i did mine, they wern't on the car, so i slowly sprayed them over a week with red smooth hammerite. Then CJ very kindly fitted them.
i think spraying them is the key! il have another bash with a brush but if that dont work the cans will come out!
