There must be something in the air at the moment. A friend of mine has just had her new Pug 307 cabriolet knicked from outside her house in Telscombe aswell. Bloody thing just vanished. What is it with people.

majorscooby 12-06-2011 04:33 PM

I left my auto focus unlocked all night last night, bloody thing is still there!!

Seems that jail terms have been issued which seems a bit excessive for a PR stunt, but something doesn't seem right, does it?

Anger 04-09-2013 11:13 AM

Next time you see the Scoobs fuel tank on this car let me know how it got so far, then even people in the team said it didn't have fuel in it yet, photos showed it with stickers at the event, then when found without, then when the team put up pics saying it was home it had the stickers back

I think that was dependant on what side of the car you looked at. Left side was stripped of decals...

...right side wasn't:

I can't remember the exact wording used at the time, but I recall them saying it was found in the "process of being stripped" (or something like that) and its appearance in all the photos was consistent as far as I can recall...

...but yeah, do wonder how it managed to get so far though.

Thought it was a bit odd that the Police let them have the car back before they dusted it for prints as well. Surely they would hold onto it?

I'm no expert though, so perhaps thats the norm?
