It has been a while since we were last on with a magazine update and a lot has happened in the past few months. We have included a few details below together with an amazing subscription offer of 50% extra copies free.

We have been extremely busy attending shows this year and launching our own show on 17th July, Total Jap Car (www.totaljapcar.co.uk) and this had led us to delay the Idol 2011 competition. This has been put back to the start of the year. All entries received so far will be contacted and asked to re-submit with up to date information nearer the time.

We have made many changes to the magazine over the past 6 months and if sales and reader feedback is anything to go by then we must be doing something right! We will continue to improve on editorials and bring to you a mix of technical, aspirational and owner car features.

Our readers drives section is due to expand, with at least 5 or 6 cars being included each issue, so please do send them in via our website.

We are also re-launching the club car section to allow every club the opportunity to feature a members car every issue if they want. We will be speaking to the clubs over the next few weeks to get this arranged.

We will be working very closely with Subaru UK with the launch of their Pro-R range and readers can look forward to fantastic discounts, giveaways and in-depth insight into the company and its vision. The Sept/October issue will feature the Cross Roads (Pro-R sponsored) Time Attack Impreza – with a recent 1st for dealer principal Jon Mathers, this is one not to be missed.

Don’t forget our regular “Mr Grumpy” column by none other than EngineTuner Alan Jeffery, fast becoming one of the best (and hilarious) reads in the magazine.

Another popular writer within the magazine is Dave Rowe of EPS Motorsport who is working with us on a tuning and modifying series of articles, the most recent looking at performance fuelling.

We also have Peter Cambridge, ex Prodrive chassis developmentt engineer writing “The Inside” column every issue which brings readers some essential information and insight.
