Hi Tyler,

I am looking into mapping on other cars at the minute but currently it is Subaru and Mitubishi standard ecus or after market ecu only (Apexi, Link, Simtek, Syvecs, Gems, Motec, Autronic, etc.

Thanks
Simon

Cheers Jura, didnt really want to go down that route for 2 main reasons..

1 - They are tempermental as have had bikes with them before...

2 - On the GSX-r's they have been getting better figures from mapping standard ecu... Or what ever they call them, i think they call them something else... Thank you tho buddy.. :D

What nige say's....

asperformance 22-07-2011 08:49 PM

our local Suzuki dealers do various remaps on the factory ECU, from memory they use a "yosh-box"

have personally had loads of 750Y-K2 gixxers run on track and always had Dynojet PC's with no problems at all (my last 'Y' never seemed to struggle with pace and would pass big-bang R1's, etc.)

Yeah i had a Yoshi box done a little while ago, it gave me more bhp but ever since i have had a flat spot between 4-6k roughly, but it is strange only sometimes it happens, but low down it is even worse, sometimes it doesnt want to pull away from traffic lights...

I have herd about TRE's as well (timing retard eliminaters) as i was told from factory they retard the fueling for emissions. But thought that Yoshi box's sorted that out..

Iirc the tre tricks the bike into thinking 1st is 2nd and 6th is 5th as from the factory you can unleash full power in 1st and 6th is limited to 188mph with a tre you get full power and speed.

Cheers buddy, does a yoshi box not clear that restriction??
