ej205 impreza/forester whats the diffrence
 

hi all
i was just wondering what diffrences there are between engines in a s turbo forester ej205 an a impreza turbo 2000 ej205.
i no the foresters are 170 something bhp but do have a much smaller turbo.
is it just the turbo thats diffrent or are the cams diffrent aswell

internal spec is very similiar if they are both UK engines.........

yes i was refering to uk spec forester turbo sorry.
i no the blocks are identical so wasnt sure if the low output was just down to haveing a tf035 turbo rather than td04 an mapping or if diffrent cams aswell

nope its simply down the the small turbo..........

a customers car 99 Forester with an H&S sytem, VF23, Walbro f/pump and an Ecutek remap made 335 and was hilariously funny on the road..........
