Rally Crash

This is one lucky guy. How the car stayed "flat" in mid air is beyond me, if it hadn't this could have been a really bad one!

Was lucky could of been alot worse,

Is lucky it stayed level and didn't roll.

But generally looks a fairly low risk bit of stage, banking on one side and guard rail on the other. Rolling through the air with bits flying off isn't the danger, only real risk was vaulting over the barrier and going off into the trees.

I've been out on some truely shocking bits of stage where cars are going through fast kinks at 100mph+. The only thing to catch them on the outside of the bend are a load of big trees. Its the abrupt stop that kills, and trees are the worst. :(

The neck braces that are now clipped to the helmet and seat save many head injuries regarding hard impacts.

It's the stretching of the neck on sudden stops that do much damage to brain & spine related issues.
