Brighton speed trials

A few of the cars booked in to run on Saturday 10th sept.... Audi R8, Radical SR3, Lotus Carlton, Ferrari 599, 6R4 metro,Ultima, sadly no Gould Puma but lots of mental bikes as well.

Blitzen01 03-09-2011 10:20 PM

I am going, went last year. Weather was not good but was still a great day out!

Petey1985 10-09-2011 03:45 PM

Just come back from it after rain stopped some of the fun. Nice cars but to sum up, All you need is a Nissan GTR. Running high 10's and low 11's it shows up all the super cars for the price.

bigemp 10-09-2011 03:56 PM

Yep the gtr looks absolutely awesome with the way it puts it's power down

Hongkongfooi 10-09-2011 05:03 PM

Damn forgot this was on:wless:

munk 10-09-2011 05:10 PM

Nutz so did I :-(

AWD_Scott 10-09-2011 05:48 PM

Just got back was a good day even with the rain.
(Sorry no pics)
Did anyone see the white version 2-3 sti?
Sadly the only scooby there, those gtr were the sex though. :)

DukeBoy 10-09-2011 06:40 PM

Yep saw the scoob, mid 15's I think it done nothing very impressive.
Didn't think much of it this year, alot less entries and the council (green party) are doing there best to get the event stopped. Public can no longer watch from the middle tier due to safety issues but they can stand 100yards either side past the start line!!! That's ok until someone loses it off the startline and ends up in the spectators.

Petey1985 10-09-2011 06:49 PM

Yea its ridiculous that they shut the middle tier, apparently its not safe enough to support all the spectators any more. Funny that on a sunny summers day half of the UK come down to Brighton and stroll along there.

DukeBoy 10-09-2011 06:51 PM

Well it's the Ace Cafe bike run tomorrow and I bet it will be open for that.

Petey1985 10-09-2011 06:56 PM

The mayor did have a run down the strip though in a lovely environmental Toyota prius. Did a 19.5 seconds with 4 people in the car!

I too thought the scooby was in the 13's as I remember thinking it wasn't a bad time at all.

DukeBoy 10-09-2011 10:20 PM

Missed that one then

tbtstt 12-09-2011 09:41 AM

Great pictures mate, love the GT40's! :10:

Looks like a good mixture of cars there again - pity I couldn't fit it in this weekend!
