If you want to retain a cat, you can't argue with that for that money.

My only personal issue with the miltek is that with the cat acting as a silencer along with the rear silencer they are not the loudest of exhaust. Not even loud enough for me and I don't like them too loud.

I got a system with a sports cat from Japspeed from turbo to tail, 3" all the way with a 4.5" exit for £500

a little cheaper than what you're looking at there, and brand new, and you get a bung with it. quite noisy without the bung

for new age heres the sports cat for £249.99
http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Subaru-Imp...t/p-24-72-444/

and the cat-back for £249.99
http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Subaru-Imp...m/p-24-72-443/

I have the classic version

Well i can't get in contact with the seller of the milltek. just
how noisy is the japspeed one. the quietness of the milltek
was appealing

the japspeed one is f'in loud, but fairly quiet when u put the bung in.

heres a vid, i think is the same exhaust without the bung:-

bit hard 2 gauge loudness on the vid though.

Depends for what you are looking,if you are looking just for quiet and nice sound, above mentioned Miltek will do best job.

If you are looking for more raw sound and loud,Blitz is hard to beat,i've run on mine Blitz Nur spec which has been nice, but loud at mornings...

if you actiually want a properly designed exhaust that flows properly and is reaonably quiet/restrained then the Milltek is head and shoulders above the others mentioned...........

if you want a ridiculously loud piece of drain pipe buy a Nur-spec..........:-D

The Milltek exhausts are brilliant, yes they are quiet but track day friendly and flow brilliantly - mine is 440 with a sports cat and passes MOTs

SpecB 16-09-2011 06:29 AM

Sorry no mines not for sale but I may be tempted to swap the sports cat for a resonated centre

butski 19-09-2011 03:18 PM

Right picked up said exhaust, my god it looks big lol.
Have just read a few posts about the 3" not being suitable
for a standard 2.0l engine......does this mean i will have
to get myself a bigger turbo, and intercooler.......;-)
If so what are the best options. i would like to keep
it looking standard. will a sti intercooler do..

SpecB 19-09-2011 05:17 PM

I had the Milltek on my 2.0 at 275 BHP - it' part of the Powerstation stage 1 kit.

butski 19-09-2011 08:14 PM

damn, was hoping to tell the wife we NEEDED a bigger turbo.......should have wispered that, she's on here to lol
