dumpvalve gasket????
 
Hi all

Does anyone no if the bolt on type dumpvalves are ment to have some kind of gasket or O ring??

changed intercooler on my 99 classic an noticed on my forge motorsport dumpvalve it has a ring recessed in it? is there went to be an O ring?
only asking as cant work out how metal on metal could seal air tight an my scoob is giveing symptoms of boost leak.

Grab some gasket paper and make one .
To be honest, if both surfaces are clean and in full contact they will seal

Use a small bead of silicon then smear flat before fitting, any type will do just not too much.

i no i have some gasket paper somewere.il have a rumage in the garage
