Hydraulic lifters / tappets

Hi All

My 96 Sport is getting a bit noisy from the Tappets. Are they the good old ones that can be adjusted with spanner and feeler gauge? Or are they hydraulic? If the later can they be adjusted in the same way or is it something very different. :?:
