Guitar amps and speakers

A bit of a long shot but does any one have an idea how much the stuff in the photos is worth, any money made will be invested in the car.

Roost were a UK built Hiwatt clone. If that's an SR100 then the value of the amp will depend on the condition/service history of the valves. In good nick and with a service and new valves I think you could probably get £250ish.

Trace Elliot cabs have a good rep and seem to be pretty bomb proof. But I wouldn't like to suggest a price.

Not sure about the H&H bass amp. Most 100w bass combos are pretty much like for like, it all depends on what bass you're plugging into them and what vibe you're after. I would say stick it on Gumtree for £80ish and see if any local student takes the bait.

It might be worth talking to this guy about all the stuff you have, or at least email him the pics. http://www.stevesamps.co.uk/wp/?page_id=19

He isn't a million miles away from you and can probably give you the lowdown on all of that stuff.

His prices for servicing valve amps and replacing valves are pretty reasonable. I've owned a Peavey 5150, an Orange Thunderverb 100, and I blew up my mates vintage 70's Orange 120w amp, and I can confirm that running a decent valve amp is like running a small car in terms of service costs!
