Larger vans, minibuses & specialist diesel vehicles

From 3 January 2012, larger vans, minibuses and other specialist diesel vehicles will be affected by the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) for the first time. If you own this type of vehicle, it must meet certain emissions standards to be driven within the LEZ without paying a daily charge.

It doesn't matter whether your vehicle is used for commercial or private purposes - it will still need to meet the standards.

Also 4x4 horse boxes. Basically anything that can carry a 1ton load. Had to get rid on the landrover :( quick way to check is look at the tax ad if it say plg your all good if it says lg your screwed.

wonder how long before they start including older vehicles in the list of chargable vehicles simply because their older technology meaans they produce more emmissions

Already doin it. The charges are on anything under oct 1st 2002
